Lahore, February 10: Angry over the national team’s woeful performance during the recent tour of Australia, PCB chief Ijaz Butt has summoned Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf to enquire about the reasons for the debacle.
The national team failed to win even a single match during their visit to Australia, suffering a whitewash in both the Test and ODI series and the one-off Twenty20 International.
”The board chairman and other members will meet Mohammad Yousuf and all-rounder Shahid Afridi separately in relation to the team’s poor performance on the tour of Australia,” the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Chief Operating Officer Salim Altaf told the ‘Dawn’.
”The board has taken serious notice of the Test and ODI drubbing during the Australia tour,” he added.
