Kumbakonam, August 30: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram paid homage to the veteran Congress leader G K Moopanar on his eighth death anniversary today.
Chidambaram came to Sundaraperumalkoil and garlanded the statue of G K Moopanar, the founder of Tamil Manila Congress (TMC), and paid homage.
He visited Karaikudi and later moved towards Mayiladuthurai.
