Secretary Finance Department Telangana K Ram Krishna Rao assured that there would not be any delay in issue of budget towards salaries of Makkah Masjid and Shahi Masjid staff and maintenance of both the masajid. He agreed to release budget towards salaries on 1st of every month.
Taking note of the non-payment of salaries to Makkah Masjid staff, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali convened a meeting with Secretary Finance and sought information regarding difficulties in release of budget. Secretary assured that he will ensure release of Rs. 6 lakh required for maintenance of both the masajid and salaries of their staff.
