Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR announced that he will constitute a three member Pay Revision Commission within three days and interim relief will be announced to State Govt. employee on 2nd June.
He was addressing a press conference on 16th May at Pragathi Bhavan after making detailed consultations with the representatives of employees and teachers. He said that the role played by TS employees in Telangana Movement is very important and he is proud of it. CM has agreed for the transfers of Govt. employees. In order to maintain transparency in transfers, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Special Chief Secretary, Mr. Ajay Mishra. The Committee has been instructed to consult the representatives of employees and teachers and submit its report to Cabinet Sub-Committee of Ministers. He also said that the process of transfer would be completed before Panchayat elections.
Mr. KCR further told that earlier a long time used to be taken for the preparation of PRC report. There used to be one member commission. By constituting a three member commission, this tradition is being done away with. The commission is being instructed to submit its report by 15th August.
Employees’ unions made a representation that both wife and husband should be posted at one place and the duration of giving promotions should be reduced from 3 to 2 years.
Mr. KCR told that restoration of pension scheme for government employee is not under his purview. He informed that a cabinet subcommittee has been constituted to review zonal system. The representatives of employees’ unions would be consulted before sending this report to President of India. He promised that Telangana employees working in Andhra area will be taken back soon.
