Dr.B.Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC appealed all the tax payers to pay the property tax immediately as tomorrow 31st March 2017 is the last day for the payment of property tax and also stated that there is no waiver interest in this year on property tax.
The Commissioner said that the GHMC has collected Rs. 1133.47 crores this year i.e., 2016-17 property tax collection as per ERP as on 29.03.2017. Last year the property tax collection was Rs. 1025 crores for the year 2015-16. The following are the circle crossed last year collection:
In Each Zone 1,2,3A, in South Zone 4A&B, 5, 6, in Central Zone 7B, 9B and 10B, In West Zone 11,12,14A & 14B, in North Zone 15,16, 17 & 18.
The tax payers are requested to utilize www.ghmc.gov.in where the citizen can click on No.1 for payment tab, No.2 click on property tax, no.3 enter your PTIN Number, no.4 use for PTIN number shown, 5 enter amount and proceed for payment through debit, credit cards and net banking through online system where the tax payers can pay their tax without any inconvenience rather standing in queues for payment at Mee-seva,. Circle offices, citizen service centres etc.,
The Commissioner said that additional counters have also been provided in all the citizen services centres of all the circles and zones for the convenience of the tax payers.(NSS)
