Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has decided to enhance the pay of Vidya volunteers. Ms. Ranjiv Acharya, Special Chief Secretary, Education issued orders yesterday. She said that Govt. had allocated Rs. 20 crore for this purpose during the financial year 2016-17.
It may be mentioned in Telangana State, there are 8000 Vidya Volunteers working in various educational institutions. They had demanded to release funds for payment of their salaries. It is understood that Govt. resolved this issue in a very pleasant manner.
