Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today took a decision to hike salaries of contract teachers working in Tribal Residential schools in the State. The State Government has followed the 2010 Pay Revision Commission recommendations to hike the salaries of the contract teachers working in tribal residential schools.
With this, as many as 18,092 tribal teachers will get benefited, according to the information. With the fresh hike, school assistants will get Rs 14,800 and special grade teachers Rs 10,900. KCR’s decision to increase salary as per pay revision will put an additional burden of Rs 27.22 cr on the State exchequer. (NSS)
