Pawan showers praises on Modi

Tollywood actor and Jana Sena party founder Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday made sensational comments saying that Potluri Vara Prasad was his close friend and was absolved from all charges by the CBI. Indirectly hitting out at YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Pawan asked what was wrong in a good man like “PVP” contesting in the election when people, who spent some years in a jail, jumped in the electoral battle.

Speaking to mediapersons, Pawan said he was not interfering with the TDP party tickets distribution issue. Making it clear that he would be canvassing for the victory of BJP-TDP combine in the elections, Pawan said he was extending his wholehearted support to Lok Satta Party chief Dr Jaya Prakash Narayan, who is fighting election from the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat. Though he had planned to contest from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat initially, he had dropped his idea for the sake of supporting Dr JP, he added. He also made it clear that fledgling Jana Sena Party is one of the constituents of the NDA.

Addressing an election meeting at Raichur in Karnataka, Pawan Kalyan showered praises on BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He said Modi does not know anything but work. Moreover, Modi has no personal assets like the Congress leaders. Stressing the need to elect candidates like Narendra Modi, Pawan called upon the Kannadigas to help “hound out” dynastic Congress leaders.
Pawan was scheduled to campaign for BJP in Raichur, Kolar and Gulbarga, which have huge population of Telugu-speaking people. (NSS)
