Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence here on Sunday.
During the meeting, which lasted for over one hour, the duo are reported to have discussed various issues including meagre allocations for Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget and the land pooling process for the new capital.
Their meeting gains significance especially after the disagreement expressed by both Naidu and Pawan Kalyan over the allocations made to the Andhra Pradesh State by the BJP-led Central Government in Union and Railway budgets. Pawan, who had recently took to social networking site Twitter, had cautioned the BJP Government to fulfill its promise of giving special status to AP. (INN)
