Pawan falls in KCR trap, says Revanth

Stating that popular cine hero and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has “fallen in the trap” of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, TDP-turned-Congress leader A Revanth Reddy advised Pawan to speak only facts.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Revanth Reddy said Pawan has spoken that he will extend his support to KCR. He said former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had stated Sonia Gandhi had allocated 54 percent of power to Telangana and 46 percent to Andhra Pradesh. He said Bhoopalapally (600MW), Jaipur (1200MW) and Mahbubnagar (240MW) power projects were started by then Congress government. “The surplus power in the State now is because of previous Congress government’s efforts”, he said and reminded that the Centre was giving power through Uday Scheme.

Revanth Reddy said 54 lakh farmers in the State did not want 24-hour power supply and were only asking nine-hour power supply in day. Suggesting to Pawan Kalyan to speak after eliciting facts, Revanth Reddy said he was sending a book written on power situation in the state by Power JAC’s Raghu to Pawan. Reminding KTR’s tweet that Pawan Kalyan was an “Aparichithudu”, Revanth said the KCR government didn’t generate even a single unit in the last three years. “We have full faith in Pawan Kalyan. I don’t think Pawan will succumb to the sops of KCR”, he said.
