Pattiseema Will Benefit Drought-hit R’Seema–Naidu

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu today reiterated that Pattiseema project is meant for providing water to the drought-hit Rayalaseema region.

He said that the government has planned to divert waste water going into sea. But YSRC party is making a hue and cry opposing the project. He assured that Siddapuram and Muchumarri lift irrigation projects would be completed as early as possible.

The chief minister had an interaction with the farmers near Banakcharla head regulator. Even after according national status to Polavaram project, it will take four years to construct the project.

He inspected the construction works of Galeru nagari canal and inquired about the progress of the work.(NSS)
