Lucknow, October 12: A patient committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of a private hospital in this Uttar Pradesh capital Monday, police said.
Yashwant Singh, 45, was admitted to the Ajanta Hospital in Alambagh Sunday for treatment of a kidney ailment.
“Singh was kept in a private ward on the second floor. This (Monday) afternoon, he broke the window pane and jumped. He died on the spot,” police spokesperson A.K. Pathak told IANS.
