Patient commits suicide Jumping from NIMS Hospital

A patient committed suicide by jumping from the NIMS building here on Saturday, due to health problem.

Prashanth (13), who was suffering from Kidney problem, was admitted to NIMS hospital and getting treatment there. Vexed with his prolonged health problem, the latter became mentally upset and resorted to the action. Saturday morning, he jumped from the sixth floor of the NIMS. He received serious injuries on head and the abdomen and many bones were fractured. The hospital staff shifted him to the emergency ward, but died due to the injuries, doctors said. (NSS)
