APCC Spokesman, Mr. N. Tulasi Reddy applauded the patience of Police officials that despite attacks by the agitators on policemen, it exhibited extraordinary patience and saved the situation from becoming worst.
He was talking to mediamen yesterday at Media Point in Secretariat. He blamed the organizers of the march for violating the assurance given by them to maintain the law and order situation peaceful. The agitators removed barricades, destroyed the furniture of the park and damaged Husainsagar and Necklace Road Railway stations. They have also damaged four police vehicles and two vehicles of mediamen. More than 25 policemen were injured. An IPS officer, by name Rajesekhar got injured. Despite all these, police tolerated and didn’t get violent which is worth praising.
He congratulated the police officers for maintaining law an dorder situation under control.
