A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a pastor at a village in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, police said today.The accused, K Jayaraju, who is also an organizer of a “children home” raped the minor twice this month in the premises of the ‘children home’ located in Pedanandipadu village.

Sub Inspector of the Pedanandipadu police station Lokeshwar said the victim, who is a class VIII student at the children home-cum-education institute, was sent for medical examination after the alleged incident.
A case under Section 376 of IPC(whoever commits rape shall be punished) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) has been registered.
The accused is absconding and further investigation is on, said a police officer..
