The Regional Passport Office has assured to issue Passports to the prospective Haj Applicants as soon as their Police Clearance Report is received to facilitate them to submit their Haj Applications for the Haj 2014 in time.
Special Officer AP State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor met the Deputy Passport Officer Sri L. Madan Kumar Reddy this afternoon and expressed his gratitude for making arrangements for issuing the passports on priority basis to the Haj Applicants and said that due to their efforts a large number of applicants could be able to submit their Haj Applications.
He informed the RPO that March 22 is the last date for submission of the Haj Applications therefore it is necessary that the passports should be prepared as soon as the PC is received and the Passports are handed over to them directly over the counter instead of sending by the post.
Irfan Shareef AEO Haj Committee was also present on this occasion.
Later Prof. S.A. Shukoor met the Special Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel and informed him about the status of Haj Applications received in the Haj Committee and said that the Haj Committee has made effective representations with the Regional Passport Officer for issue of the Passports to prospective Haj Applicants.
