In order to make the best use of the technical gadgets for providing better facilities to the citizens of the state, Police Department proposes to launch an App by the name “Very Fast”.
With the help of this software, the Dept. of Police is making managements to complete the process of police verification within three to four days.
In addition to it, ‘Interactive Voice Response System’ has also been made available.
Passport Seva Kendra System:
It may be mentioned that seven years back, Central Government had introduced Passport Seva Kendra System to complete the process of police verification in 21 days but due to a large number of applicants, it created many problems.
Dept. of Police is issuing strict instructions to the police personnel not to accept any bribe or gift from the passport applicants.
Police and Tata Consultancy:
Dept. of Police got prepared a special software with the help of Tata Consultancy in order to accelerate the process of verification so that the applicants could get their passports in the shortest possible time.
