(Siasat News)Filling of Passport application form was tedious task and the middlemen was charging high cost to fill up the application form and to book slot. Now this problem is solved, from August 1, RPO will facilitate to fill Application form at the eSave centers.
With the Application Reference Number, Applicant can directly wall into Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for form submission. However this facility is only for Tatkal services, senior citizens above 60 years, physically challenged person’s minors below 15 years whose parents hold valid passports, and Central/State government employees.
RPO, K. Srikar Reddy, said that the changes has been made to reduce pressure on the applicant
He also added that passport to minor and reissue of passport takes only 5 days in Tatkal as police verification is not necessary in these cases.
