Nalgonda, December 04: Former chief minister K Rosaiah said the Congress would not lose anything even if former MP Jagan floated a new regional party.
Rosaiah, on his way to Srisailam, made a brief halt at Dindi mandal headquarters in Nalgonda district on Thursday.
Speaking to mediapersons who met him there, he said Jagan would have had a bright future had he stuck with the Congress.
Jagan owed his identity to his late father YS Rajasekhara Reddy, he added.
Stating that the chief minister had the freedom to pick his team and allocate ministries, Rosaiah exuded confidence that the dissidence over allocation of portfolios to ministers would be resolved soon.
