The State convention of Bharat Mukti Morcha was held at Ambedkar Bhavan Hyderabad. Mr. R.Subba Rao, member of S.C.’s, S.T.’s Commission, Maulana Abdul Hameed Al Azhari(Malegaon) revolutionary poet Mr. Gaddar, JP Raju, VL Matung, Kumar Kale, Maulana Hussain Shaheed, Prof. Anwar Khan, Malik Mutasim Khan, President of Welfare Party of AP and others addressed the gathering.
Mr. Subba Rao presented many incidents of the Higher Caste Hindus opposing the Constitution of India. He told that they wanted to eradicate the Muslims from India. They therefore supported the cause of those who demanded Pakistan. Declaring Pakistan as an independent country a day before India got freedom is a part of their conspiracy. Due to this reason they spread against the Muslim. This is one of the reasons that they opposed the constitution of India.
Maulana Abdul Hameed Al Azhari while addressing the convention told that Muslims are alleged to have spread Islam with the force of a sword but the reality is against it. Islam became popular because of its social equality, the teachings of Muslims saints and their passion for sacrifices. Such conspiracies were hatched in order to stop Dalit Muslims unity. He further told that if any terrorist incident takes place, it is immediately assigned to the Muslims. Islam has preached peace not terrorism. All the Muslims in the world follow this path. He told that in collaboration with Bharat Mukti Morcha Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation, a movement was launched for the unification of all the depressed communities which was very successful. He said that Govt. had to release all the innocent Muslim youths who were falsely implicated in Malegoen bomb blast. The violent incidents right from the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi to this day are the plans of the communal elements to stop the unity of Daliths and Muslims. If we want to defeat the communal forces, our unity is essential. It is the only weapon with which we can foil their evil designs.
Mr. V.L. Matumg in his speech told that the plan of the Brahmins is to target many with one bullet. They has new weapons every time to break the unity of Daliths and Muslims. Now they are spreading venom between the Budhists and the Muslims. Revolutionary poet Mr. Gaddar applauded the efforts of Bharat Mukti Morcha and BC’s and Minorities Employees Federation. He told that by promoting Dalith Muslim unity we can remove educational and economic backwardness of both these communities. The unity of both these section of societies will help rise a new Sun on the horizon of India. A large number of supporters of Dalith Muslim unity attended the convention.
