Parthasarathy moots healthy classrooms for students

Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathy on Wednesday said that the classrooms and playgrounds in the schools would build students’ personality and mould their character.

Talking to media persons after garlanding the statue of former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishna at Tank Bund to mark the Teachers Day celebrations, Parthasarathy said that the congenial atmosphere in the schools and teaching methods adopted by the teachers would definitely help to mould the student’s character and make them stand on their own feet.

Apart from this, he said that the education provided in the schools would help them face problems boldly in their careers. Reiterating that the healthy society would be possible with qualitative education provided in the schools by teachers only, he suggested the teachers to follow the ideals and innovative teaching methods adopted Sarvepalli Radhakrishna to come up in their lives.
