Scores of residents, activists and students took out a candlelight vigil at Raj Nagar sector 10 area in the district to pay tribute to the victims of Paris terrorist attack.
People observed two-minute silence yesterday evening to mourn for the people killed in the attack.
Addressing the gathering, the General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Sewak Sangh Vipin Tyagi said that peace-loving people around the world have united against Islamic terror organisations.
Increasing terror strikes of ISIS are also matter of concern and the Indian government must take appropriate stern measures to check the growth of their network in the country, he said.
