Parirakshana Committee resents “Govt-sponsored” dharna at Indira Park

Hyderabad: Indira Park Dharna Chowk Parirakshana Committee has called upon the people to condemn the “vengeance” of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In a pressnote note here on Sunday, the Committee alleged that the Chief Minister made the members of Indira Park Colony Residents Association and Indira Park Walkers Association to stage dharna against the Save Dharna Chowk Committee. It clearly shows the ill-motives of the State government, the Committee said. The Committee members asked the police authorities to give permission to the Committee too to stage dharna on May 15 in the same manner the police gave to the Indira colony residents and walkers association.
“The Save Dharna Chowk Committee will conclude that today’s dharna was held under the aegis of the State government if failed to give permission to the Committee to stage dharna at Dharna Chowk tomorrow”, they warned. The Committee members — Chada Venkat Reddy (CPI), Prof. M Kodandaram (TJAC), Prof. P L Vishweshwar Rao (Co-convener), Mallepally Adhi Reddy (CPI), DG Narasimha Rao (CPM), K Goverdhan and Hanmesh (CPI ML New Democracy) called upon the people to come in thousands to occupy Dharna Chowk on Monday to open the eyes of the State government. The Committee members described today’s dharna at Indira Park as the victory of the Save Dharna Chowk Committee. (NSS)
