Mumbai: Kiran feels the society is unfair to men but when his wish for a role reversal gets fulfilled, he realises how tough it is to be a woman in a ‘Man’s world’. The interesting situation forms the premise of a new comedy web series titled Man’s World, by Yash Raj Films, and features actresses Parineeti Chopra, Richa Chadha, Kalki Koechlin and Bhumi Pednekar, among others.
The four-part series will premiere on Youtube on September 29. It will also be screened at the Jagran Film Festival here on October 1.
The series supports Goal 5 of the United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Goal 5 is about achieving Gender Equality and empowering all girls and women, everywhere.
The over two-minute-long trailer is a hilarious sneak-peek into the world, where men are at the receiving end of sexism and inequality, which women are often subjected to by the society.
The series also stars Soni Razdan, Pritish Nandy, Rhea Chakraborty, Cyrus Sahukar, Shweta Tripathi, Priyanka Bose, Nidhi Singh, Naveen Kasturia, Meiyang Chang, Aditi Singh Sharma, RJ Malishka, Anupama Chopra and Aditi Mittal.
