Unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a supporter of Panki MLA Videsh Singh near Mahavir chowk under Lesliganj police station area in Palamu district today.
Police said that deceased identified as Santosh Mehta along with few others was on way to Junu village under
Lesliganj police station when around five masked miscreants stopped their vehicle.
They shot at Mehta while others managed to escape in the incident, police said.
Raids are on to nab the miscreants.
