Minister for Women Development and Child Welfare Sunitha Laxma Reddy on Wednesday stated that the government has plans to bring child day care centres under the purview of Women Development and Child Welfare.
Talking to media persons, Sunitha Laxma Reddy said that the modalities for bringing child day care centres under the purview of Women Development and Child Welfare would be discussed with officials of concerned soon.
She said that the government has appointed a high level committee with 9 members to streamline modalities for establishing baby care centres in the state.
Based on the recommendations of committee, she said that the government would take steps for regulating child care centres, which have not registered as per law.
