Panasonic T50 smartphone launched at Rs. 4,990

New Delhi : Japanese multinational electronics corporation Panasonic on Thursday launched its new flagship device the T50 smartphone in India.

The cost of the smartphone is Rs. 4,990.

It has also advanced launcher settings such as batch arranging, file manager and gesture control.

The interface has also been integrated into the smartphone’s five-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and the front-facing two-megapixel camera as well.

“Our latest introduction in the Indian market is a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software, the SAIL user interface. The UI is even integrated into a specialised SAIL camera. It is an app-driven smartphone which combines 3G connectivity and multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device,” said Pankaj Rana, business head, mobility division, Panasonic India.

Headquartered in Osaka, Japan, Panasonic was founded in 1918 and has grown to become one of the largest Japanese electronics producers alongside Sony, Hitachi, Toshiba and Canon Inc.

In addition to electronics, it offers non-electronic products and services such as home renovation services. Panasonic is the world’s fourth-largest television manufacturer by 2012 market share. (ANI)
