Railway officials confirmed that the Palamu Express derailed in Jharkhand on Tuesday, adding that preliminary reports state that there are no casualties in the incident.
“Three coaches and the engine of the Palamu Express derailed between the Barbadi and Chipadohar stations ( Jharkhand) at around 8:40pm in the Dhanbad division of the East Central Railways. It has been indicated that there are no casualties and injuries in this incident. As per preliminary information, the pilot of the locomotive heard a blast. The cause of accident and other details are still awaited,” Railways PRO Anil Saxena told ANI.
