The summer palace of Nawab Mir Fazal Ali Khan Bahadur III is located on the top of the hills at Banganapally village, at a distance of nearly 80 kilometers from Kurnool. The Nawab used to reside here. The building is round and is very beautiful. The splendid castle is an architectural masterpiece. Its salient feature is that it is completely build up with local stones and is located on top of the hill. Though the beauty of its interior cannot be described as it is not open for visitors, the exterior of the castle is still marvelous. Its beauty has no parallels.
Today it stood with all its grandeur struggling for its survival since long. It is a great tourist spot full of natural panorama. People visiting Kurnool must visit the palace of Mir Fazal Ali Khan Bahadur III.
