Karachi, Sept. 28 : Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has landed in Germany, where he is scheduled to address a security conference during a day-long official visit.
According to The Dawn, Sharif will address Central South Asia Security Conference participants, said Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations Lieutenant-General Asim Bajwa in a tweet.
Sharif’s visit to Germany comes just a day after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Merkel appreciated progress made by Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism and acknowledged the nation’s contribution towards regional peace and stability. (ANI)
