Lahore: Veteran glamorous Zeenat Aman during an interview said that Pakistanis were quite good-looking.
“Your people are quite good looking and your drama serials are watched all over the world,” she said.
Speaking at the inauguration of Shaan-e-Pakistan, she said that she is mesmerised by the beauty of Lahore and wishes she had visited the city earlier.
“The city is beautiful and its people are loving. I wish I had visited Lahore earlier. I want to visit the old city (walled city). Many from Peshawar starred in our film industry and Lahore too was the hub of films before the Partition. I would like to see the entire city,” said Zeenat, who is in Lahore to participate in a cultural event.
Zeenath Aman, the ultimate ‘it’ girl of Bollywood who used to rule Bollywood in the 70s and 80s also said she would love to do a Pakistani movie if she was offered a role.
“I would love to work here if an opportunity comes,” she said. She also said that she would return to Pakistan when a movie made by her son was released.
The ‘Qurbani’ actress was the first Indian woman to win the Miss Asia Pacific pageant in 1970.
She said her son made a film in which a Pakistani television actor is performing. “I will return to Pakistan upon its release. Give the children same love which you have given to me.”
