Protestors in Pakistan have blacked out the advertisement posters of Indian actress Katrina Kaif and Meera Nair raising the moral policing issue.
The line that protestor laid along with the blackening of the posters says, “Sell clothes, not your honor.” The banners and posters featuring Katrina Kaif and Meera with Veet and Lux ad respectively have been replaced by black banners.
The campaigns by different organization do not want female bodies in sleeveless and backless clothes, therefore, the drama. Publicist of the Pakistani beauty however, criticized the whole thing by calling it ‘unreasonable’. Dale Bhagwagar (Meera’s publicst) said, “In any case, showing off a little skin with a sleeveless blouse or a backless dress, couldn’t be reason enough to black out posters and hoardings.”
