London, March 11: Pakistan’s top diplomat in London says a 5-year-old British boy kidnapped from his family’s home in Pakistan has been located.
British officials say Sahil Saeed was snatched from his grandmother’s house in Pakistan’s Jehlum city last week after robbers held the family at gunpoint for several hours.
On Thursday Pakistani High Commissioner Wajid Hasan told The Associated Press that Sahil had been found. He did not give any details, saying he just learned of the development.
The British High Commission in Islamabad said it was checking into the reports but could not confirm that the boy had been found. Police officials in Pakistan also would not immediately confirm the matter.
