Islamabad: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan expressed her views hours after Imran Khan tweeted, “I am not worthy of the Nobel Peace prize. The person worthy of this would be the one who solves the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and paves the way for peace & human development in the subcontinent”.

Soon after the Indian pilot was handed over to the Indian authorities, the hashtag “#NobelPeacePrizeForImranKhan” had started trending in Pakistan on Twitter.
It may be recalled that earlier, reacting to Fatima Bhutto’s tweet, “There is nothing uglier than people cheering for war.”, the actress wrote, “Nothing uglier. Nothing more ignorant than cheering for war. May sense prevail.. Pakistan zindabad”.

After Pulwama attack, the tension between the two countries increased. It has impacted all the fields including the film industry.
It may be mentioned that Mahira Khan is one of the famous actresses of Pakistan who was named as the Most Beautiful Woman in Pakistan in 2012. She also worked in an Indian movie, Raees in 2016.
