Dubai: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said his government will take effective steps to resolve controversial issues of the Islamic world. He told this during an in an interview given to Al-Arabia channel. Imran Khan, during his maiden foreign visit to Riyadh as prime minister, said that Muslim countries can’t bear to have more conflicts as it is weakening all of us. He reaffirmed Islamabad’s support of Saudi Arabia during his maiden foreign visit to Riyadh as prime minister.
Imran Khan recalled that Saudi Arabia has in the past helped Pakistan in the hour of need. He expressed confidence regarding Riyadh’s support in future as well. He claimed that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have a strong people-to-people relationship.
Stressing the importance of addressing conflicts within and among Muslim countries he said, Pakistan would like to play a role in putting out these fires.
