Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah has said that issues between India and Pakistan should be resolved through dialogue.
The Dawn quoted Khalilullah, as saying that Pakistan is devoted to maintaining good relations with all of its neighbours and emphasised on solving issues between India and Pakistan through dialogue.
The spokesman also said that Pakistan welcomes all efforts to normalize ties between the two countries, referring to the recent telephonic conversation between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
He also commented about the fishermen issue saying that logistical arrangements are being finalized and that the exchange of detained fishermen will be made soon.
Pakistan will take appropriate measures to protect the country’s national interest, Khalilullah further said. (ANI)
