Karachi: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will on Tuesday announce the new chief minister for Sindh at a meeting in Karachi where the incumbent Qaim Ali Shah is expected to hand his resignation.
The party during a high-level meeting in Dubai yesterday, decided to shuffle the Sindh cabinet and bring in a new chief minister.
Following the announcement, reports surfaced that senior minister for Finance, Murad Ali Shah, is being touted as the most likely pick, reports the Express Tribune.
Reports suggest that Home Minster Sohail Anwar Siyal and Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Culture and Tourism Sharmila Farooqui may be removed and there will a reshuffle the Sindh cabinet.
However, there has been no confirmation from the party. (ANI)
