The passing of an anti-India resolution by Pakistan parliament is an “act of desperation”, said BJP General Secretary Rajive Pratap Reddy.
Speaking to Media on Friday, Mr. Reddy said that Pakistan had recently raised the Kashmir issue in the UN General Assembly and failed to get any response from the international community.
It is clearly evident that Pakistan is isolated from the World Community, and “It’s an obvious reaction and an outcome of the recent frustration, Reddy said
The resolution moved by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s states that the National Assembly condemns Indian ceasefire violations along the Line of Control.
Reddy further said, the Resolution passed unanimously by Pakistan parliament is “unprovoked and indiscriminate” ceasefire violations by India and he asks the government to seek UN’s involvement to resolve the Kashmir issue.
Meanwhile, referring to the recent talks between US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Reddy said that the two had spoken about flushing Terrorists out of their safe havens.
