Pakistan Govt spokesperson’s twitter account suspended

Islamabad: The Indian Authorities complaint to suspend Pakistan’s spokesperson Mohammed Faisal’s personal Twitter account had been accepted, sources said.

A report published in the Express Tribune said the account was suspended for keeping his followers updated about the Indian atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir.

However, the official account of Pakistan foreign Ministry with Faisal’s name on it remains active, OneIndia reports.

In of his most recent tweets on that page, Faisal had written that Members of the European Parliament had called for an end to “gross human rights violations” in Jammu and Kashmir adding that the EU “should not do trade with countries that violate Human rights”.

Ties between India and Pakistan have deteriorated in the wake of the recent Pulwama attack just ahead of Lok Sabha Elections.

Terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed functioning from Pakistan claimed to have carried out the recent attack that has killed over 40 CRPF Jawans when the convoy was returning.
