Pakistan will soon introduce a much awaited ‘Freedom of Information Law’ bill in the Senate, almost similar to the Right to Information Act in India.
Senate Committee on Information and Broadcasting had yesterday approved the draft of a “Freedom of Information Law”.
The committee finalised the draft after eight months of deliberations. It ignored reservations of the defence authorities, the Dawn daily reported.
