Balakot, Aug. 15 : Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Balakot region on Saturday.
Pakistani troops resorted to firing at Indian outposts from around midnight.
Earlier in the day, Pakistani border troops had reportedly violated the ceasefire in Mandi and Saujian sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian troops have retaliated to this unprovoked firing that began at midnight and lasted till 3 a.m. this morning.
On Friday, Pakistan indulged in unprovoked firing in the Hamirpur area of the Balakote sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District.
On Tuesday, Pakistani troops resorted to small arms firing on forward posts along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts. (ANI)
