Islamabad, December 04: Pakistani police today released a sketch of the suicide bomber who blew himself up outside the naval headquarters complex in the federal capital and announced a reward of Rs 2.5 million for information on the masterminds of the attack.
The sketch depicted a clean-shaven youth aged about 16 or 17 years. Police said he was short and had a fair complexion.
Two naval policemen were killed and over a dozen others injured when the bomber detonated his explosives when he was stopped by guards at the gate of the naval headquarters on a key thoroughfare in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The sketch of the bomber was prepared by law enforcement agencies with the help of witnesses and evidence collected from the site of the blast.
The bomber could not speak or understand Urdu and blew himself up in haste when the guards challenged him, officials said.
