Washington: Five Pakistani nationals and one from Afghanistan have been arrested by US Border Patrol after they illegally sneaked into the US, a media report said.
The six men were arrested on November 16 near the picturesque town of Patagonia, Arizona, some 16 miles into the porous US-Mexico border, Breitbat News reported.
A day earlier, the media outlet had said federal agents arrested eight Syrian illegal aliens while attempting to enter the United States.
All the six are being interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The arrests gains significance in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris and the threat of the Islamic State group using refugee programme as a cover to sneak into US.
