Pak national held without valid passport

Bareilly, April 20: A Pakistani national was today arrested from Saidpur Umaria village for overstaying without a valid passport, a senior officer said.

Hawaldar Khan, who belonged to Lahore, was arrested by intelligence unit under sections of Foreigners Act, Deputy Inspector General of Police Prakash D said.

He said Hawaldar came to India in June 2005 and did not go back even after expiry of his visa.

Hawaldar was wanted by the Indian government, the DIG said adding that the Union Home Ministry has been informed about the arrest.
