Asserting that the agenda for the NSA-level talks was agreed in Ufa, Russia, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that Pakistan must not deviate from it.
“The agenda for the NSA-level talks between India and Pakistan was agreed in Ufa, Pakistan must not deviate from this agenda,” he told the media here.
India has said the imposition of new conditions by Pakistan and distortion of the agreed agenda cannot be the basis for going forward with the NSA-level talks.
MEA official spokesperson Vikas Swarup said Friday evening that the insistence on meeting Hurriyat as a precondition is also a complete departure from the Ufa understanding. (ANI)
