Pak leads World in sex search

London, July 15: American television channel Fox News called Pakistan a world leader by number of searches related to pornography.

Pakistan is leading in the number of search queries related to pornography, child pornography and sexual perversion, said the U.S. television channel Fox News, citing data analysis systems Google Trends and Google Insights.

The list of requests that the people of Pakistan “hammered” in the search engines – “sex”, “sex with children”, “rape”, “sex with animals” and others. A more complete list of requests (in English) can be found at Fox News.

At the same time, Pakistan is actively pursuing a policy of blocking unwanted web resources. According to the channel in the country blocked access to at least 17 sites with content deemed “offensive” or “blasphemous”.

In addition, the authorities are constantly monitoring the Search engine Google, Bing and Yahoo, MSN and Hotmail portals and video sharing YouTube. In June, a lawyer from Pakistan proposed to execute Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for distributing anti-Islamic content.
