Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army has asked Afghanistan to look inward and identify the real issues of the country instead of accusing Islamabad for the recent Kabul bomb attack that left at least 90 people dead and more than 300 injured.
A Special Corps Commanders’ Conference, which was held at the General Headquarters on Tuesday, took exception to Kabul’s unwarranted accusations and threats against Pakistan following the blast.
The forum concluded that instead of blaming Pakistan, Afghanistan needs to look inward and identify the real issues, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The forum also reviewed the regional security environment in the backdrop of recent terrorist incidents in Afghanistan.
The Pakistan Army expressed solidarity with the Afghan people and security forces over loss of precious lives and vowed to continue its support and cooperation with Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism and militancy.
While reaffirming continued support to regional peace and stability, the forum reiterated the Pakistan Army’s resolve to defend the country against all types of threat. (ANI)
