Painting Exhibition on the composite culture of Telangana in OU

Under the auspices of Women’s Study Center of Osmania University and Mukta Organization which is engaged in uniting the Telangana women in Telangana Movement organized a painting exhibition at Arts College yesterday. This exhibition depicts the composite culture and civilization of Telangana. The exhibitions will continue today also.

Intellectuals from various fields of life appreciated this move. Prof. Vimala, President of Mukta told that the purpose of this exhibition is to bring together the cultural heritage of Telangana with an objective of uniting all the organizations working for the cause of Telangana.

She also said that it is an opportunity to end the injustices meted out to the artistes of Telangana. A seminar is also organized on this occasion.

The function was attended by Ms. Kavitha Deshkar, Mr. B. Narsing Rao, Ms. Padma Reddy, Mr. Jagdish Mittal, Mr. M.C. Mohan, Mr. Ratna Rao, Ms. Athiya Majad, Mr. Shankar Malkote, Ms. Anuradha Reddy, etc. Prof. Lakshmi welcomed the guests.
