New Delhi: Indian American model and former wife of Nobel Laureate Salman Rushdie, Padma Lakshmi revealed in her book that the author demand frequent sex and once when she declined Rushdie’s sexual advances, he called her ‘bad investment’.
According to a news published in Zeenews, she said that her former husband was insensitive towards her health issues which made sexual intercourse painful.
The statement gives a rather dim picture of the controversial author.
Lakshmi further in her autobiography – ‘Love, Loss And What We Ate’ has revealed that Rushdie needed to be consoled frequently for losing the Nobel Prize for Literature every year, according to a report in DNA.
