Panaji, Jun 13: Former Goa Tourism Minister Fransisco Mickey Pacheco has decided to move the High Court tomorrow challenging the quashing of his anticipatory bail plea by a sessions court in connection with the death of his friend Nadia Torrado, family sources said.
Pacheco will be moving the High Court tomorrow for anticipatory bail, the sources said.
Goa bench of the Bombay High Court will also hear the same day the anticipatory bail petition filed by Pacheco’s aide, Lyndon Monteiro.
Both were denied relief by a sessions court in Margao last week.
The former minister in his earlier bail petition had claimed that he was being framed in the case related to the death of 28-year-old Nadia.
Pacheco is on the run after he was questioned by the Crime Branch in connection with the case.
